We used that tutorial today, to make a preloader to a large image, with a loading bar.
These are used to load parts of the website, rather than the entire thing, which is easier than loading the entire website at once.
When we previewed it, we sued the simulated download option to try it with various connection speeds.
The pre loader is made including a movie clip which is used for the dynamic loading bar and changing text. (Dynamic)
